Movie Night & St. Nicholas Visits

On St. Nicholas' Eve: Our Hearts for the Children!
"We do not give you God, for each of you must find Him in your own soul; we do not give you a Homeland, for you must find it through the work of your heart and mind. We do not give you love for humanity, for there is no love without forgiveness, and forgiveness is a difficult labor that each must take upon themselves. We give you one thing: we give you the striving for a better life, which does not exist yet, but which will one day be, for a life of truth and justice. And perhaps this striving will lead you to God, Homeland, and love." (Janusz Korczak).
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, I had a wonderful opportunity to bring joy to more than seventy displaced children from various regions of Ukraine, giving them that striving for a better life and faith in goodness.
Our meeting was special: we watched an animated film about St. Nicholas together and presented the children with much-anticipated gifts!
I sincerely thank Merciful God and everyone who helps! A huge thank you to Father Volodymyr Chaykivskyi and St. Vladimir Orthodox Church - Trenton, NJ for making it possible for us to give a little bit of holiday cheer to the children whose homes have been lost to the war.
